Steps for Admission
- Contact The Door for more details to determine if The Door is the right fit for your lifestyle plans.
- List Cole Watts, The Door’s Program Director, on your Confidentiality form at your primary treatment center (if applicable) for future contact and discussion with you.
- Fill out and return the Admissions packet.
- Discuss and secure payment and room options.
- Determine arrival date.
Requirements
Stages of Recovery, Inc. – The Door is a substance free living environment of adult males. In order to be considered for admission to The Door, potential house members must
- Be able to verify a minimum of 21 days abstinent from all alcohol and mood-altering chemicals.
- Be actively working a program of recovery (i.e. 12-Step or other recovery support group meetings)
- Complete the applicationfor enrollment in The Door.
Review
Completion of the requirements listed above does not guarantee placement in The Door. Completed applications will be reviewed within 48 hours of receipt by the Stages of Recovery, Inc. offices and we will then notify you by phone. All applicants are reviewed to ensure that potential house members meet admission and eligibility requirements of the program.
